The Examination Committee of the European Society of Anaesthesiology has reached an agreement with our Association so that on official adoption of the European Diploma examination in Malta we will benefit from:

1. Reduced rates for candidates in Malta sitting the EDA part I which will continue to be held in Malta every September simultaneously with the other centres
2. Nominating an Association official on the EDA examinations subcommittee (part I or Part II)
3. Contributions from CEEA and ESA National in the form of guest speakers on selected topics for our local CME programme
4. Possibility of waiving the upgrade fee when sitting the part II examination (still to be confirmed and certain conditions will apply)
