Who we are
The Association of Anaesthesiologists of Malta is the National Anaesthesia Society of Malta, representing all medical doctors (Specialists, Residents and Trainees) practicing in the various field of Anaesthesiology that includes Anaesthesia, Intensive Care Medicine, Acute and Chronic Pain Medicine and Resuscitation.

What we do
The responsibilities of the AAM :
- Safeguard the high standards of Anaesthesiology in Malta
- Represent the needs and interests of its members particularly with regards to the safe delivery of Anaesthesia to patients
- Participate in National and International organisations
- Participate in the Anaesthesiology Training Programme (at Mater Dei Hospital) by formulating, supervising and accrediting the training of locally trained anaesthestists leading to the title of Specialist in Anaesthesiology (and inclusion in the Maltese Specialist Register).
